Sergeant Scott Curtis started his public service career at the Tehama County Probation Department in 1995. In 2000, he attended the Butte College Police Academy and upon graduation started working with the Red Bluff Police Department as a patrol officer. In 2004, he left the department to work in the private sector, but returned as a patrol officer in 2011. Sergeant Curtis holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Business and Human Resource Management. In addition to patrol officer duties, Sergeant Curtis has been a part of the RBPD Honor Guard Team, a Field Training Officer and a Sniper on the Tehama Inter-Agency S.W.A.T. team. He was assigned as a Detective in 2012 and promoted to Corporal in 2014 prior to his promotion to Sergeant in 2015.
Sergeant Curtis is married with three children. He was born and raised in Red Bluff and enjoys interacting with the community he grew up in.
